A total of nineteen artifacts were recovered during the investigation, including ceramics, ordnance, and pieces of the ship's hull. The largest artifact was the 32-pounder cannon. (Image: photo documentation of recovered artifacts)

Results for Year 2000

Bad weather resulted in several lost days during the scheduled dive period. Much of the equipment being used for diving and on-site research was untested before being shipped to the wreck site. There were problems with the underwater video system but the team was still able to use the video and sonar footage to detect undiscovered artifacts and enhance site maps.
